RateMyRound is a mobile and web app designed for golfers to rate the condition of the golf courses they play—every time they play. It’s not about scoring your round but about scoring the course itself.
You rate three key course elements:
Tees
Fairways
Greens
Each is rated from 1 (Poor) to 5 (Excellent). These are then weighted to generate an overall score out of 1000. Only the best-conditioned courses will approach a perfect score.
Bunkers are excluded because not every golfer visits them during a round. This keeps the ratings fair and consistent across all players and rounds.
The core features are free to all golfers and golf clubs.
All golfers—from casual players to club members—are encouraged to use the app. Clubs can also engage with the platform to understand how their course is performing throughout the year.
Clubs receive real-time, ongoing feedback from members and visitors. This helps them identify underperforming areas and improve player satisfaction using actual user data.
No. Individual golfers can use the app at any course, anywhere. If you're not part of a club, you can still rate rounds and track conditions wherever you play.
Registration is simple. After your round, you can sign up directly through the app. Your home course will be auto-detected or can be selected manually if you're visiting a new one.

This measures your ratings against others and is looking for a level of consistency. Users who consistently rate Poor or Excellent will be emailed guidelines. Anyone abusing the system may be blocked.
